Overview

 
The Asset Manager will be responsible for working with the client to review energy usage and strategies to meet or exceed the minimum EaaS outcome for the customer. This will include partnering with the owner in the operation & maintenance of the Central Energy Plant for the assigned campus(es), and working with/mentoring the owner’s staff on the operation & maintenance and energy usage of multiple facilities as part of a greater system-wide effort.

 

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing of energy usage on a daily basis for the facility and to provide guidance, best practices, and modifications of current operations.
  • Mentoring the owner on energy strategies.
  • Managing the Central Energy Plant Operation and Maintenance including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers.
  • Managing the Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the CEP.
  • Working with the operators to ensure the plant operates efficiently.
  • Performing on-going training of the Plant Operators.
  • Developing and maintaining the Plant Operating Manual.
  • Assisting the EPC team with the coordination of engineering, procurement and construction activities with OMC operations.
  • Coordinating on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services team.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

 

  • Reviewing energy usage daily for the facility(s) and providing guidance, best practices, and modifications of current operations.
  • Mentoring the owner on energy strategies.
  • Coordinating with the owner relative to the central energy plant operation & maintenance potentially including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers.
  • Working with the plant directors to ensure the plant operates efficiently.
  • Performing on-going training of the plant operators.
  • Developing and maintaining the plant operating manual.
  • Assisting and coordinating with the delivery team to ensure efficient operational resiliency during the construction period.
  • Coordinating on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services team.
  • Responsibility for managing a single team or multiple teams consisting of one or more Asset Managers.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree (ABET Accredited Program).
  • CEM or Equivalent certification preferred

Travel Requirements:

  • 0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations.

  • Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
  • Climbing stairs.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces

Physical Demands:

  • Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds

Pay Range

USD $66,760.00 - USD $89,180.00 /Yr.
