The HSE Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting in the overall supervision and administration of Corporate HSE Compliance for the Company in order to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Managing corporate safety efforts to prevent accidents and injuries while communicating details of safety conditions to the Corporate HSE Compliance Manager, HSE Vice President and various levels of Regional HSE supervision.
• Assist in the management of the Drug And Alcohol Testing Program including the ordering of testing supplies, working in coordination with HSE, Recruiting, Human Resources, collection sites, third-party drug/alcohol testing provider and MRO. Oversee quarterly random drug/alcohol testing, including employee selection, site notifications, and track test completion.
• Participate in the development of HSE training programs as needed.
• Coordinate setup, tracking, and invoicing of HSE training programs across project sites.
• Ensure compliance with Avetta and ISN safety and contractor management platforms.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and pre-qualification documents, providing approvals or feedback as needed.
• Support daily operations of the Incident Management System (IMS), including reviewing incident and near-miss reports, grant system access to new employees and configure new locations.
• Support HSE program initiatives, track key performance indicators and departmental goals, prepare HSE metric reports and update HSE dashboard metric data.
• Coordinate the creation of monthly HSE articles with the Communication department and create weekly HSE posts for Workvivo (internal communication platform) to promote safety awareness and employee engagement.
• Assist in the development and revision of HSE related documents, forms, procedures, and plans as needed.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
• 7+ years of construction administration or HSE compliance experience.
• Completed First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Specialized training relevant to scope of work.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control methods.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

• College Degree - Preferred
