Overview

The O&M Site Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, quality and safety, to ensure expected KPIs to develop a high level of expertise and self-sufficiency within all team members.

Responsibilities

  • Job safety.
  • Follows safety rules/procedures; avoid known hazards in the work environment.
  • Reviews safety procedures before beginning each job with known hazards.
  • Build and sustain customer relationships to insure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Supervision of the team (monitoring effectiveness, housekeeping, efficiency, assignments/coordination of repairs).
  • Provides technical assistance with installations and modifications to existing systems.
  • Meets or exceeds all financial expectations, reviewing cost data with the Asset Management team.
  • Manages dispatch procedures to insure a high level of customer satisfaction and proficient, effective communications with field staff resources.
  • Directly responsible for all field labor, materials, other, profit, loss, project performance, safety, subcontractors, vendors, etc. within and in conjunction with the operations of the business unit.
  • Management of all field labor within the team including development of service teams and roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinating with Asset Manager regarding as required and responsible for: hiring and termination of all operators and technicians, conducting performance reviews of staff, recommending salary changes for the team, resolving internal personnel issues and development of talent with the team.
  • Maintains and protects the company image and culture and coach others in the company way.
  • Ensures that employee morale and retention are kept at a high level.
  • Maintains inventory and tool procurement for all service vehicles.
  • Maintains continuing education program for personnel.
  • Performs orientation for new hires.
  • Prepares monthly and annual reports.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively with all client and other contractor's personnel onsite.
  • Capable of communicating effectively (verbal, email, etc.) with a wide variety of stakeholders such as on-site operators, engineering, technicians/electricians and other site contractors
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Must be organized and self-motivated with the ability to lead a team.
  • Professional manner and appearance is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with a proven track record in the HVAC business.

Travel Requirements

  • 50% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Climbing stairs.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Quiet environment.
  • Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
